Sam's work as a prosecutor, and as a Councilman, has armed him with all the tools to be a successful Justice of the Peace – and keep Henderson among the safest communities in America.
Bateman is well-known as a tough-on-crime District Attorney, personally prosecuting some of our community's worst criminals.
"I am totally committed to keeping our streets safe,"said Bateman. "The constituents know me and my devotion to fighting crime in Henderson."
"I love this City and its residents," he said. "I can't wait to get out on the campaign trail and rekindle my relationship with the voters of Henderson, the people who have been so good to me."
A Henderson resident since the 1990's, Bateman, 38, was appointed to the Henderson Planning Commission in 2007 by Mayor James B. Gibson and served one term as the board's Chairman.
Originally from Bountiful, Utah, Bateman received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Utah. He continued his studies at UNLV, graduating from the Boyd School of Law in 2002.
